Charlene Pesquiera is a Tucson native of 35 years and has dedicated 18 years to the Juvenile and Adult Justice System working towards strengthening families and community. She is a business owner specializing in the areas of: marketing, intervention, and prevention programs; fostering school age programs in health, substance abuse, and literacy.

She is also a college instructor for the Criminal Justice Program with ITT in the areas of: Introduction to Criminal Justice, Probation & Parole, and Interrogations and Interviewing. 

Charlene Pesquiera is a graduate from the University of Phoenix with a Masters in Business Administration, a Bachelor’s in Pre Law and Liberal Arts with Prescott College and a Criminal Justice, and Corrections Associates of Arts degree with Pima Community College. 

Professional affiliates includes:  The Nucleus Club, Democrats of Greater Tucson and The Association for Career and Technical Education.

Hobbies: A four time marathon runner, enjoys hiking and rock climbing. Charlene is married to Garrett Burner with one son Korey.
