Senator Linda Binder, a 20-year resident of Lake Havasu City, is married to Bill Binder, an orthopedic surgeon. They have one daughter, Marisa, 21.

Linda is a past city council member and Vice-Mayor of Lake Havasu City.  She has been extremely active in the community since moving here. Her involvements have included being president of the Western Arizona Humane Society, President of the Lake Havasu Chamber of Commerce and she has served a four-year term on the Board of Adjustment. In addition, she was active in organizing the city's Parks and Recreation Department and served on its board for a number of years.

Besides being a Director of Mohave State Bank, Linda is a Rotarian and an active member of the London Bridge Republican Women's Club. Elected to the House of Representatives in 1998, Linda served as Chairman of Counties and Municipalities Committee, and was a member of the Judiciary Committee, Health Committee, and Natural Resources and Agriculture.

Elected to the Arizona Senate in 2002, Linda serves as Chairman of the Natural Resources and Transportation Committee, Vice-Chairman of the Health Committee, and is a member of the Judiciary Committee.
