Rep. James “Jim” Skelly resigned June 28, 1976, after the session had ended, to run for a seat in Legislative District 28 and he was replaced by Jacque Steiner who was appointed July 6, 1976 as Representative for District 25.  (Journal of the House of Representatives, 32nd Legislature, 1976, pp. 955, 1056)
