BACKGROUND:
Christine spent her youth in a small Midwestern town, Effingham, Illinois. Her parents taught her the importance of hard work and responsibility. At a very young age, Christine displayed an interest in politics. She was very interested in history, and she enjoyed learning about historical figures. George Washington was her favorite because they both shared one thing in common - February 22 - same birthdays. Christine displayed courage and compassion for others from a very early age. She carries these same traits with her today.

SPECIAL INTERESTS:
Advocates for equalization of capital finance to resolve the inequities in school finance. Believes all children (and adults) deserve quality education. The Arizona Supreme Court ruled that the method of school financing was unconstitutional. The Legislature must address and remedy this situation.
Supports effective and immediate measures to ensure a safe and clean environment.
Believes all individuals are entitled to quality, affordable health care.
