"Cesar Aguilar was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona by a working-class family. Aguilar's mom was an English teacher, and his dad is still today a Union Heat and Frost Insulator in Local #73. Aguilar gradated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelors [sic] in Political Science in 2016. After graduating, Aguilar went off to work for the Arizona Democratic Party. Currently, Aguilar focuses his time running a nonprofit, the Arizona Students' Association, where he works on advocating for college accessibility and affordability. Aguilar has experience sitting on multiple governing boars and advocating for Latinx children in K-12 and higher education."
